6:30 a.m.
Craig and Mark left the house with their bikes fully loaded - skateboard and all. Family friends Mr. Friedler (in his MGB) and Mr. Bergh (riding his BMW) escorted them down the mid-cape highway and then some. Mom was teary and prayed "a dios" that all would be well.

The descriptions and your activities are great reading. The writing is succinct and conveys your enthusiasm, despite some adverse weather & Mark's bike problem (what was it>).
